My name is Sophia! I like to dance!

The obsession with Yo Gabba Gabba continues. Here is Sophia dancing to the intro music.

Peek-a-boo!

Here is a video of Sophia and Mommy playing peek-a-boo. It’s amazing (for us, anyway) to watch her learn and pick up on new activities and ideas.

Rugrat

We decided to move the coffee table out of the living room to give Sophia room to play, and this seems to have been the impetus she needed to begin crawling. Here are a couple of videos of her crawling on the living room rug.

If you’re happy and you know it …

Sophia started clapping her hands yesterday, and it’s currently her most favorite pastime.

Crash-a-Rama!

On July 3rd, a truly legendary fellowship was formed. This brave fellowship consisted of myself, Thijson, Jed, and Mike. Our quest? We were to travel to Bithlo, FL to experience the awesome redneck spectacle that is Crash-a-Rama. The verdict? It’s probably the best $20 that you could ever spend, despite the fact that a perfectly good camper trailer was left (relatively) intact at the end of the evening. Below is some video footage recorded I recorded.

Spoon!

Sophia is nearly 5 months old, so we decided to try feeding her some Oatmeal Baby Cereal (obviously it’s for babies, not made of babies). She’s been getting a little bit of this cereal in her nightly bottle, so this seemed like the next logical step. Here’s some video to prove that it actually happened.

At this point I’d like to take the opportunity to make a weakly associated cultural reference to the epic battle cry of The Tick in a desperate attempt to be humorous.

I’ve also added more pictures to the June 2009 gallery.

Gigglebox

Sophia is able to laugh now, and we’ve finally got around to recording it on video.

I’ve been adding pictures to the May 2009 gallery, so check them out if you haven’t seen them yet.

Sophia in her Crib

Christina recently recorded some video of Sophia vocalizing while in her crib. We find it very entertaining when she squeals and babbles, so we both felt the need to share it with the world. I’ve also added some photos to the April 2009 photo gallery. Enjoy.
